Paris is culture
Rue Montorgueil Area
The neighbourhood of rue Montorgueil is a lively and vibrant place to be both during the day and at night.
Along the pedestrian streets of rue Montorgueil, you will find tons of hip bars, french restaurants, and local markets.
If you’re in the area for the day, you can also explore the popular sights close by like the Saint-Eustache, Centre Pompidou, rue des Archives, and Hotel de Ville.
The Buttes-Chaumont Park
Spreading across more than 24 hectares, the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont is one of the largest public parks in Paris.
While there are many other beautiful green oases in Paris, Parc des Buttes-Chaumont is worth a mention due to its impressive location on top of a quarry.
The unique change in levels and landscape along the quarry makes Parc des Buttes-Chaumont one of the best places to enjoy a spectacular view over Paris.
In the park, you’ll also have the opportunity to wobble over a suspension bridge, sit by the lake, walk along a waterfall, and explore the caves.
Quartier de la Sorbonne
The Quartier de la Sorbonne might sound quite familiar to you.
It is an older district in Paris located on the left side of the river bank and was the popular filming location for the movie Midnight in Paris.
Midnight in Paris is a film written and directed by Woody Allen, starring Rachel McAdams and Owen Wilson.
The district itself is quite picturesque.
You’ll find little antique stores, tea shops, book stores and fine dining along the romantic cobblestone streets.
In the area, you’ll also get beautiful views of the river Seine and the Notre-Dame.
